MUDr. Jiří Kočárek operates with the Versius robotic system at Kladno Regional Hospital
Kladno Regional Hospital operates the Versius Surgical Robotic System (CMR Surgical, UK). The first procedure — a radical prostatectomy — was performed on 12 May 2025 by MUDr. Jiří Kočárek, head of urology and a MenCare clinic doctor. In its first year: 302 robotic operations, 231 of them urological, all without complications. Instruments with 360° wrist rotation are thinner than standard ones: smaller scars, less pain, faster recovery.
