Terms of Use

1. About the Service
Zoryx is a free medical clinic directory covering the whole Czech Republic, operated by ZORYX Team s.r.o. (Czech Republic). The service is available at zoryx.app and via mobile applications on Google Play and the App Store. By using Zoryx you agree to these Terms.
2. Intended Use
Zoryx is an informational directory only. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Clinic information (addresses, phone numbers, specializations, insurance) is provided for reference purposes and may change without notice. Always verify details directly with the clinic before visiting.
Emergency: In a medical emergency, call 155 (ambulance) or 112 (European emergency number). Do not rely on Zoryx in emergency situations.
3. User Conduct
When using Zoryx (including submitting reviews or using the AI assistant), you agree not to:
- Post false, misleading, or defamatory content about clinics or medical professionals
- Submit spam, commercial solicitations, or irrelevant content
- Attempt to manipulate ratings (fake reviews, automated submissions)
- Use the service to scrape, harvest, or systematically extract data
- Interfere with or disrupt the service infrastructure
- Use the AI assistant for diagnosis or as a substitute for professional medical advice
4. Reviews & Ratings
Reviews submitted through Zoryx become publicly visible. By submitting a review, you grant ZORYX Team s.r.o. a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display your review within the service. We reserve the right to remove reviews that violate these Terms, contain offensive content, or are clearly fraudulent.
Reviews reflect the opinions of individual users and do not represent the view of ZORYX Team s.r.o.
5. AI Assistant
The Zoryx AI assistant (powered by Anthropic Claude) is provided for informational purposes only — to help you find a relevant clinic or specialization. It does not constitute medical advice. Do not make health decisions based solely on AI responses. AI responses may be inaccurate or outdated.
The assistant may quote what a clinic publishes on its own website — contacts, opening hours, prices, the list of services, doctors, insurers, how a certificate of incapacity for work (neschopenka) is issued, and how to prepare for an examination or an operation. Such a reply names the page it came from. Those are the clinic's own statements, not ours; check them with the clinic at the contacts given.
The assistant does not give medical advice. It does not decide what treatment you need, whether a medicine suits you or in what dose, whether a symptom is dangerous, and it neither makes nor rules out a diagnosis — it will point you to a doctor instead. In a life-threatening situation call 155 or 112.
To produce a reply, the text of your messages is sent to Anthropic PBC. Your conversations are stored in your account, and a conversation with a particular clinic's assistant can be read by the staff of that clinic, who may take over from the assistant and answer you personally. This is described in full in our Privacy Policy.
6. Booking Appointments
Where a clinic offers online booking, Zoryx passes your request to that clinic and shows you the times the clinic has published. The appointment itself is an agreement between you and the clinic; Zoryx is not a party to it and does not provide the medical service.
To make a booking we send the clinic your name, contact details, the chosen service and the reason for the visit you entered. Each clinic sets its own cancellation window; after it passes, cancelling in the app is no longer possible and you need to call the clinic. A clinic may move your appointment to another time or another of its doctors — you are notified by e-mail and in your chat with that clinic. We send a reminder the day before the visit.
7. Health Card
The health card is an optional record you keep yourself: allergies, chronic conditions, medication, past surgeries, and documents you upload. Filling it in is never required to use Zoryx or to book an appointment.
Nobody sees your card until you open access. Access is a single switch in the app, off by default. While it is on, doctors and managers of the clinics where you have an appointment can read the card and the documents in it. Turning the switch off closes it again immediately. A clinic can ask you to open access — the request arrives as a message in your chat with that clinic and obliges you to nothing.
The card is health data. We store it encrypted in transit and at rest, do not use it for advertising, never sell it, and delete it together with your account.
8. Chats with Clinics
A chat with a clinic is read by the staff of that clinic — the assistant may answer first, and a person may take over at any point. Appointment confirmations, reminders and requests from the clinic also arrive there. Messages are stored in your account and remain available to both sides.
A clinic may close a conversation from its side: you keep seeing the history but can no longer write. Do not send emergency requests through chat — nobody may be reading at that moment. In an emergency call 155 or 112.
9. Notifications and Device Permissions
The app sends notifications about new messages, new appointments, reminders and service news. Each kind can be switched off separately in your profile, and all of them at once in your phone settings. Switching a notification off never hides the underlying event: the message or the appointment still arrives in the app.
The app asks for access to your camera and photos only to attach a profile picture or a document to your health card, and to the microphone only to dictate a question to the assistant — speech is recognised by your phone and the recording never leaves the device. Refusing any of these permissions leaves the rest of the app working.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
Zoryx is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or currency of clinic information. We are not responsible for any harm resulting from reliance on information presented in the app or from interactions with listed clinics.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Czech law, ZORYX Team s.r.o. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed CZK 1,000.
12. Intellectual Property
All content, design, trademarks, and software comprising Zoryx are the property of ZORYX Team s.r.o. or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic. Any disputes shall be resolved by the competent courts of the Czech Republic. If you are a consumer in another EU member state, you retain the protection of mandatory consumer law provisions of your country.
